Metro Steamway is locally owned and family grown since 1988. Brian started as an employee in 1998 and now owns the company with his wife and three girls.
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm. Sundays are reserved for commercial, medical & patient facilities only.
How fast can you respond to flooding?
We offer 24/7 emergency response and aim to reach you as quickly as possible — call right away, because every hour matters with water damage.
What should I do while I wait for you?
If it's safe, stop the water at its source. Move furniture, rugs, and electronics off the wet area, and don't use a household vacuum on standing water.
Can wet carpet and padding be saved?
Often, yes — if the water is clean and extracted quickly, carpet usually survives. Heavily saturated padding may need replacement. We'll tell you honestly before any work begins.

Yes. Sand and lake silt settle into the base of the carpet where a vacuum cannot reach. Hot water extraction flushes them out and stands the pile back up.
